Rede Verdes
Grid integration of large-scale green hydrogen production from photovoltaic and wind plants, part of Ceará's Renewable Energy Research and Innovation Network.
The problem
Large-scale green hydrogen production from solar and wind power still faces grid-integration challenges — dispatch, power quality, and sizing the connection infrastructure for these plants.
Approach
GREI is part of Rede Verdes, a Ceará-based renewable energy research and innovation network, studying grid integration of large-scale H2 production plants powered by photovoltaic and wind sources — including layered mapping of solar and wind generation potential and the available electrical infrastructure for connection.
